Variety is the spice of life!

An odd job came in recently.  A kitchen door with the laminate peeling off.  Client required it gluing down and made to look as good as possible. It was glued with West System epoxy and clamped with the slight gap filled with wax and coloured with acrylic.

How not to frame a tapestry.

This tapestry came into me requiring new glass. It had been stapled to a piece of 5mm MDF and a double mount stuck to it with double sided tape. The whole package to include glass was too big to fit into the frame chosen and was therefore haphazardly nailed and copious amounts of masking tape applied to prevent the nails jutting through. Finally a piece of brown paper was glued over the top and the wrong fittings were attached to hang it with. Believe it or not this had been professionally framed and they had even attached their label to the back.

"Topping Out Ceremony" Displays

I recently completed an interesting commission for a metalwork company in Southampton who requested three frames for a "Topping Out Ceremony" to be held in London. The frames contained nickel plated spanners, nuts and bolts and I organised the inscription engraving on the glass.

The clients said "I would without doubt recommend We Frame It, we had a requirement for 3no complex presentation boxes for a construction topping out ceremony displaying a nickel plated spanner along with steel nuts bolts and washers all behind an engraved glass front which Nicole completed to an excellent standard and within a very tight programme to meet our requirements, would definitely use again. I have just added an event on my Facebook page to offer for sale a collection of pictures, mirrors and frame that I have in stock.  Most were made for the various craft sales I had stalls at this Christmas and have not sold. They would make ideal gifts or new additions to your home decor.

NEW ! How about a signing mount.

Ask your guests to sign a mount around a photo of whatever the occasion is....21st, engagement, new baby, new home, retirement etc.

I could cut the mount in any colour. How about black wit the signing in silver and gold gel pens or white with neon coloured pens. Children's names in different coloured felt pens could look gold around a party photo.  Place the photo in the mount and replace the back securely in with the flexible framing points. EASY!

All sizes and colour combinations possible. I have a large selection of mouldings for the frame to suit all decor.

The example below is a wedding photo and this would cost about £40.
